When you connect your Garmin account to Waypoint Velo, we request specific permissions to access your fitness and health data to provide our adaptive training services. This includes:

Garmin Health Data: Morning Heart Rate Variability (HRV), Sleep Scores, and Body Battery metrics.
Garmin Activity Data: Completed workout files (FIT files), including heart rate, power, cadence, and duration.
Profile Information: Basic account details necessary to sync your profile.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data collected from Garmin strictly to power the core functionality of the Waypoint Velo app. Specifically:

To calculate your daily "Readiness Coefficient" and adjust your Training Stress Score (TSS).
To dynamically generate, shift, or skip your cycling workouts based on your actual physiological fatigue.
To push structured daily workouts back to your connected Garmin device.

4. How We Disclose and Share Your Data We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal health or activity data to third parties.

We only disclose your data in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers: We may share data with secure, third-party cloud hosting and database providers (e.g., Supabase, Hostinger) strictly for the purpose of storing and processing your app data.
Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or other legal processes.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained only as long as you maintain an active Waypoint Velo account. You have the right to:

Revoke Access: You can disconnect Waypoint Velo from your Garmin Connect account at any time via your Garmin settings, which will instantly stop the flow of data.
Delete Your Account: You can request a complete deletion of your Waypoint Velo account and all associated health/activity data by contacting us directly.
